Marvellous March - PEOPLE -

People come and go...

I guess this is the very fact of life that i have learnt recently...

However, bear in mind that each and everyone that we have met is a unique being and special in his or her own ways...

God has created us to be different from one another - UNIQUE -

No one can live in isolation...

We need PEOPLE to be around us...

What does PEOPLE mean?

P: Person
E: Entrance/ Exit
O: Open
P: Problems
L: Love
E: Eternity

I believe that each of you guys out here has plenty of friends...

Friends are people whom we know...

As the unknown person makes an entrance in our life, God is arranging a divine appointment between you and the particular person at that particular time.

It is your choice to make the first move or you'll lose the opportunity to know him/ her. The choice is in our hands, to be able to have open arms to welcome the person or choose to ignore him/ her.

As you get to know him/ her, you can see that everyone is imperfect and has his/ her own set of problems in life. What would Jesus do? What can you do? Easy as ABC, love the person for who he/ she is!

Then this would lead the person to experience God and eternal life! Interesting right?

As you study this word, PEOPLE means alot to GOD and that's the reason why God sent His only Son in exchange of our sins. John 3:16

WOW factor - PEOPLE counts and PEOPLE matters most to Him!

Indeed God is love!

JEWEL 05 HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY!

Well, as we grow up...

Before i forget, i would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to my DADDY & MUMMY!!!
They have been the BEST PARENTS and i am WHO i am because of their upbringing!

i am so blessed indeed!

It was and has been tough role indeed...
Raising me and my 3 sisters up...
He did well although...
He's a strict daddy...
I LOVE u, DADDY!
i was shopping for my daddy yesterday...
and i realised that it was not easy...
to get the right gift for him...
eventually i bought him a wallet and belt...
it was rather satisfying buying something for daddy with my own pay...

MUMMY...
Mummy is my BEST FRIEND...
Or my sister?
She looks young...
And she has 4 grown up daughters...
She had a good career at first...
Career or family?
She chose family...
Her decision made a BIG DIFFERENCE in fact...
A superwoman indeed!

At the end of the day, i want to thank...
My Father in Heaven...
For such wonderful PARENTS...
SISTERS - Mei Ping, Pui Mun and Hui Yan...
ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!
In Christ...that's a blessing!!!

JEWEL 04 My dearest sister!

On this special day, a cute baby girl was born...15 November 1987... That's the little baby in the picture...How adorable!!!

Babies are just so CUTE!!! ADORABLE!!! That's my dearest sister - Rachel Lee@ Mei Ping!!!

I guess due to the one year gap that brought us so much closer than the rest...the fact that we got into the same university...church...cell group...roommate...we are inseparable!!!

She's the best gift that God has ever blessed me with by bringing home closer... He answered my prayers when i was in my first year...God is just so AMAZING!!! It's kinda hard to shift my entire family down to JB...somehow he brought "HOME" by placing my sis in UTM as well!

God is a good Father indeed! My sister is my best friend!!! She knows ALL about me and i know ALL about her She is my best buddy... When it comes to... 1) Good food - YUMMY!!! 2) Shopping!!! 3) Cleaning up Owh...too much that words could not describe you, sis! Just wana say THANK YOU for being my BEST SIS! (n.n) A rare jewel indeed!

JEWEL 03 My Daily Bus Ride

Honk! Honk! Honk!

There goes the school bus...

There's a cartoon that i love to watch when i was younger - The Magic School Bus?

I guess school bus...the yellow school bus to be specific brings us back to those younger days when we were in school uniforms...oh dear! looking back, it has been more than a decade already...

Remember those LARGE PRINTS on the bus painted in black - BAS SEKOLAH?

Those prints used to be so huge when we were younger to ensure that we would not miss the words out...i guess everything seems to be GIANT in size when we were little...

And i remembered one of my favourite songs was "When i was just a little girl, i asked my mother - What would i be? Will i be pretty? Will i be rich?" There goes "Que Sarah, Sarah, what you'll be you'll be...i sang that song in church camp recently...haha...(>,<)! OMG! I'll sing in shower but not in front of so many people!

After more than a decade, here i am...

Waiting for bus everyday...
While waiting for the bus...

I thank God for EVERYTHING...

As we learn to give THANKS, it teaches us MORE to CHRIST-LIKE...

Be like JESUS...
Just picture Him being just like you?
What if - Jesus wakes up in your bed, lives in your house and lives life as you?
With NO EXCEPTION...
Life goes on...your circumstances resume in life...
Problems in studies...boy-girl relationship...financial problems etc...
Will there be a CHANGE?
Will others notice?
Hmm...will you still do what you are doing?

So many "what ifs"?
But what can we do to be like Jesus?
We should be thinking like Him...
Not only in thoughts...but words and deeds...

Remember God LOVES you as WHO you are...
His LOVE for you NEVER CEASES...

He LOVES you!
He refuses to leave you...
Although you ignore Him...reject Him...Disobey Him...

GOD is LOVE!!!

JEWEL 02 - All Time Favorite -

SHOPPING!!! I guess that would be my all time favourite past time...not only me i guess... All the girls would say YES when it comes to shopping! And the fever goes on and on... At the sight of discount and sale items, the scenario can be a little bit scary for some guys...let me put it into better words...there she goes again...

Don't ever remind me... I am a shopaholic myself... I grew up in KL all my life...life revolves around malls for KL-ites... I love the mall and the mall loves me as a shopper... Gosh, I used to work in Sunway Pyramid for my industrial training...even now i am working in the mall...the mall and i...we are inseparable!

With Chinese New Year around the corner, i am taking this opportunity to recommend one of my favourite brands - Forever 21 - It was known as Fashion 21 initially, was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1984 by Korean-American Do-Won Chang and his wife, Jin Sook. Forever 21 brand name is well known in overseas and u can find its stores in Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion KL, 1 Utama in KL...the fashion line is a mixture of the feminine touch with the casual style... I just feel like shopping!!!

Jewel JANUARY

January is the mark of a new year for many of us... A new year with a new beginning... Have you all ever thought of where did name of January come from? Well...January has its very own beginnings in Roman mythology, coming from the Latin word for door (ianua)... It means January is the door to the year... Interesting?

As for many of us, we would be busy ushering the new year by celebrating with friends & family and loved ones...many would be thinking and making their new year resolutions... What a significant time of the year where everyone would start afresh... That includes me as well...

In Michi's Closet... It'll be channel for all to come and comment on the latest brewing hot chocolate...Oops! It's an open channel for all to come and chill out! My dream is to have a one-of-a-kind interactive blog...

Why Jewel January? You must have heard of bling-blings? For your information (Guys), the term bling-bling is a must in a girl's dictionary... That is why we say diamond is a girl's best friend...girls are attracted to shiny sparkling objects... And that was proven by a research done by a magazine... Hence, i chose Jewel January as my theme for January... Today is 10 January 2010 - i chose this date as i like the number 10! Signing off soon as my intro is coming to an end...Adios!
